While cementitious adhesive mortar requires the addition of water and time to mature, DunDun Putty comes ready to use, optimizing productivity on site. Studies show that DunDun Putty can yield up to 3x more than adhesive mortar.
Productivity
Rationalization
By using DunDun Putty, your construction work will be aligned with the practices recommended by GBC Brasil (Green Building Council Brasil), promoting the use of more sustainable inputs. This not only improves the efficiency of the construction process, but also contributes to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the building industry. Adopting DunDun putty is a smart choice for those looking for savings, efficiency and more sustainable building practices.

Security
Currently, there are no specific Brazilian standards for polymeric compounds used to lay ceramic tiles. Based on the international standard ISO 13.007, we carried out performance tests on the DunDun Cerâmica polymeric compound. DunDun Ceramic Putty showed deformability (EN12002) of more than 60 mm (equipment limit), while type III cementitious adhesive mortars only reached 1.7 mm on average, highlighting their low capacity to accommodate structural deformations. These results show that DunDun Ceramic is at least 35 times more flexible than type III cementitious adhesive mortars.

Instructions for use
Homogenize
Before opening the package, squeeze and shake the tube of DunDun Putty, ensuring that the polymeric compound is completely mixed;
Tourniquet
Make a kind of tourniquet at the base of the tube to make it easier to apply the material, be it bricks or blocks;
Application
Apply two parallel layers of DunDun Putty, each 1 cm thick, 1 cm from the edges of the brick. The application should be continuous. For best performance, we recommend using blocks and bricks with good dimensional regularity, thus ensuring the wall is properly leveled.

Application
- Pieces up to 40x40cm:
The way to apply the material is with fillets approximately 1 cm in diameter, covering the perimeter of the back of the board, at a distance of 1 cm from the edges. Then apply fillets on the diagonals, in the shape of an X, and 4 voluminous circles in the center of the quadrants.
- Pieces larger than 40x40cm:
In this case, the way to apply DunDun Ceramic Putty is with fillets approximately 1 cm in diameter, covering the perimeter of the back of the tile, at a distance of 1 cm from the edges. Then apply parallel rows, approximately 5 cm apart.

Product curing
- Drying time is linked to the conditions of each environment and surface, the material needs dry conditions to optimize the curing process;
- For a dry environment with a temperature of 23ºC, consider:
- For grout application: 7 days;
- Total drying time 21 days (ISO 13.007).
Instructions for use
Cleaning
Before starting the application, we recommend cleaning the substrate with a brush.
Application
Apply DunDun Facade Putty directly to the substrate and spread it with the smooth side of the trowel. Then use the toothed side of the trowel to form ridges in the troweled product, ensuring complete filling between the tile and the surface.
Fixing
Position the piece near the end position, pressing it against the strings with your hands. Drag it to the desired final position. Using a rubber mallet, press the piece down evenly, ensuring that the product strands are completely crushed.
